Edwards Skatepark
Edwards Skatepark is a popular skateboarding destination located in the city of Plano, Texas. The park was designed and built by the renowned skatepark builder, SPA Skateparks, and opened in 2018.
The park boasts a 40,000 square foot concrete skateboarding surface that includes a variety of features suitable for skaters of all levels. These features include a 12-foot deep bowl, a flow section, street-style obstacles such as rails, ledges, and stairs, as well as a skateable art installation.
One of the unique aspects of Edwards Skatepark is the inclusion of a pump track, which is a circuit of rollers and banked turns that skaters can ride without having to push. The pump track is designed for BMX riders, skaters, and scooter riders alike and provides a different experience than traditional skate features.
The park also has several amenities to enhance the experience of its visitors. There are restrooms, a water fountain, and benches throughout the park. The park also has lights that allow for night skating sessions and a shaded viewing area for spectators.
Edwards Skatepark is open to the public seven days a week, and admission is free. Helmets are required for all skaters and riders under 18, and strongly encouraged for all other participants. Overall, Edwards Skatepark is a must-visit destination for skaters and riders in the Plano area and beyond.
