June 14, 2023

There is a lot more to skateboarding than just riding on the street. In fact, there are a lot of tricks that can be performed on a skateboard, and one of the coolest is the backside noseblunt. This trick is not as easy as it looks, but with a little bit of practice, you can be doing it like a pro!

What is a backside noseblunt?

A backside noseblunt is when you do a noseblunt on the backside of the rail. It’s a really fun trick to do and it looks really cool.

How to do a backside noseblunt on a skateboard

There are a few things you need to do in order to execute a backside noseblunt on a skateboard. First, you need to be comfortable doing a frontside noseblunt. Once you have that down, it’s just a matter of transferring your weight from your back foot to your front foot in order to do the trick.

To do the backside noseblunt, start by positioning yourself in the same way you would for a frontside noseblunt. Then, instead of flipping your board around to do the trick, simply jump off your back foot and onto your front foot, landing back on your board in the same position you started in. If done correctly, you will flip the board around and end up doing a backside noseblunt.

Tips for landing a backside noseblunt

There are a few things you can do to help increase your chances of landing a backside noseblunt. Firstly, make sure you are comfortable doing the trick before you even try it. Get your timing down, and make sure you know where and how to pop the board.

When you’re ready to give it a go, start by positioning yourself in the same way you would for a backside 180. Make sure your back foot is in the middle of the board, and your front foot is just in front of the bolts. Pop the board up into the air and turn your head to the side to watch your board as it flips around. As the board comes around, make sure to put your hands in the correct spot and tuck your chin to your chest.

If you land it correctly, you should end up with your nose pressed against the tail of the board. Congratulations! You’ve just landed a backside noseblunt.

Variations of the backside noseblunt

There are many variations of the backside noseblunt that can be performed. The most basic is to simply do a backside noseblunt on a rail or ledge. This can be done with your frontside or backside.

To do a frontside backside noseblunt on a rail or ledge, start by positioning yourself on the rail or ledge with your backside facing the obstacle. Then, take a frontside 180 kickflip into the backside noseblunt. Make sure to keep your weight on your back foot to maintain your balance.

Another variation is the frontside backside noseblunt slide. To do this, start by doing a frontside backside noseblunt on a rail or ledge. Once you are in the noseblunt position, slide down the rail or ledge. This can be done with or without your hands.

The last variation is the backside backside noseblunt slide. To do this, start by doing a backside backside noseblunt on a rail or ledge. Once you are in the noseblunt position, slide down the rail or ledge. Again, this can be done with or without your hands.

When to use a backside noseblunt

There are a few key factors to consider when deciding whether or not to use a backside noseblunt. The first is your riding style. If you like to throw big airs and do lots of tricks, a backside noseblunt is probably not the move for you. It’s a bit more difficult to land than a frontside noseblunt and doesn’t look as good. If, however, you’re more of a street rider who likes to do rail grinds and basic tricks, a backside noseblunt is a great move to add to your repertoire.

The other thing to consider is the obstacle you’re trying to skate. If it’s a big, flat rail, a backside noseblunt is a great way to get around it. If, however, the rail is really small or has lots of curves and obstacles, a frontside noseblunt is probably a better option.

Ultimately, the decision on which noseblunt to use comes down to your own personal preference and the obstacles you’re skating. Just make sure you practice both moves so you’re comfortable with them when the time comes to use them.

How to improve your backside noseblunt

There are a few things you can do to improve your backside noseblunt. The first is to make sure you have a good amount of speed going into the trick. You’ll also want to make sure your nose is as close to the rail as possible. Finally, you’ll want to use your backside to pop the trick off.

So if you are looking to add a new trick to your repertoire, why not give the backside noseblunt a try? It is a lot of fun to perform, and once you get the hang of it, you will be able to do it with ease. So get out there and start practicing!
