Lawton Skatepark
Lawton Skatepark is a public skatepark located in Lawton, Oklahoma. It was built in 2003 and covers an area of approximately 15,000 square feet. The skatepark is owned and operated by the City of Lawton Parks and Recreation Department.
The skatepark features a variety of obstacles for skaters to ride, including a large bowl, street course, and mini ramp. The street course includes features such as stairs, rails, and ledges, while the bowl ranges in depth from 5 feet to 10 feet.
The skatepark is free to use and open to skaters of all skill levels. However, all skaters are required to wear helmets and sign a liability waiver before using the park. The park is open seven days a week from dawn until dusk, weather permitting.
In addition to providing a space for skaters to practice their skills, Lawton Skatepark also hosts events throughout the year, such as competitions and demonstrations.
